What we expect
The Cult
rules
Two sets: in game, and in the Discord. Both apply to you.
The Cult server rules
In game
- 01
Respect Everyone
Treat all players with respect. No racism, sexism, homophobia, hate speech, harassment, or real-life threats. Keep arguments out of global chat. If you have an issue, contact staff through Discord.
- 02
No Mixpacking
Players may only group and cooperate with members of their own species. Temporary social interactions through VOIP are allowed. What is not allowed is cooperating with another species to gain a gameplay advantage. This includes, but is not limited to: defending another species during combat; intentionally protecting another species from attackers; coordinating attacks or hunts; intentionally sharing food or kills with another species.
In short: talk with whoever you like. Just don't cooperate with another species for a gameplay advantage.
- 03
Third Partying
Third partying is allowed. You are free to join ongoing fights at any time. You do not have to wait for a fight to finish before getting involved. Third partying does not exempt you from the No Mixpacking rule.
- 04
Follow Group Limits
Follow the official in-game group limits for your species. Splitting into multiple groups to bypass group limits is not allowed.
- 05
Chat Rules
Keep global chat respectful. No excessive spam or toxicity. English only in global chat so staff can moderate effectively.
- 06
Staff Decisions
Follow staff instructions during an active situation. If you disagree with a decision, discuss it through a Discord ticket rather than arguing in-game.
- 07
Have Fun
This is a survival server. Losses happen. Play fair, respect other players, and help keep the community enjoyable.
The Cult — Discord rules
In the Discord
- D1
Respect Other Members
Friendly banter is welcome, but harassment, bullying, discrimination, threats, targeted abuse or deliberately making others uncomfortable will not be tolerated. If someone asks you to stop, stop.
- D2
Keep Content Appropriate
Do not post illegal content, explicit sexual content, graphic gore or anything intended purely to shock or disturb others. All content must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- D3
No Spam or Disruption
Do not spam messages, emojis, mentions, images, soundboards or repeatedly join and leave voice channels. Keep content in the appropriate channels and avoid deliberately disrupting conversations or games.
- D4
Voice Chat Etiquette
Do not constantly interrupt, shout over others, scream into your microphone or play excessively loud music and sound effects. Mute yourself or use push-to-talk when you have disruptive background noise.
- D5
Privacy and Streaming
Do not share another person's private information, messages, photos or personal details without permission. Be aware that members may record or livestream gameplay and conversations while using the server's voice channels.
- D6
No Advertising
Do not advertise other Discord servers, social media accounts, streams, products or services without permission from staff.
- D7
No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another member, staff member or content creator. Misleading names, profiles or attempts to impersonate others may be removed.
- D8
Respect Staff Decisions
Staff will consider the circumstances before taking action, but their final decision must be respected. Any concerns should be raised calmly and privately rather than argued about publicly.
- D9
Use Common Sense
Not every possible situation can be listed. Deliberately exploiting loopholes or acting in a clearly harmful, disruptive or disrespectful way may still result in moderation.
